The program

Community. Mentorship. Leadership.

The chapter is built around three things. A private circle of peers, one-on-one mentoring with experienced YPO members, and the experiences that help you grow as a leader.

I

Community

A private circle of peers your own age. A confidential Forum to talk business, family, and life, much like the one your parents know in YPO.

  • A confidential Forum, a personal board of advisers your own age
  • Curated dinners and small-group gatherings
  • Cross-chapter introductions across YPO and YNG
II

Mentorship

We pair every member one-on-one with an experienced YPO member for three one-hour meetings, matched to what they need: career, entrepreneurship, leadership, or a specific industry.

  • One-on-one matching with an experienced YPO member
  • Small group dinners and single-topic boardrooms
  • More mentoring formats added over time
III

Leadership

The skills and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally, so leadership follows naturally.

  • Joint YPO and YNG events and workshops
  • Behind-the-scenes company visits
  • Financial literacy, philanthropy, and growth workshops
Forum

A room where everything stays in the room.

Forum is the heart of the community. A small, consistent group meets regularly to talk openly about business, family, and life. It runs on one simple standard: Nothing. Nobody. Never. What is said in Forum stays in Forum.

Forum is a structured, trained experience, not a casual drop-in. Members join through a placement request and complete a short training first, so every group starts on the same footing.

Mentorship

How the mentoring works.

Mentorship is the engine. It starts simple. We pair every member one-on-one with an experienced YPO member, matched to what each member actually needs. More formats build from there.

01

One-on-one mentoring

We pair every member one-on-one with an experienced YPO member, matched to what they need. Three one-hour sessions to start, by Zoom, coffee, lunch, or dinner.

02

Group dinners and small tables

Small groups of members and YPO mentors over dinner, coffee, or lunch, with one focused topic. This is where most mentoring relationships actually start.

03

In the Boardroom

Single-topic sessions led by a YPO operator on one subject. Held in person or by Zoom, with parent and child welcome together.

04

Business visits

Behind-the-scenes visits to YPO member companies with a few senior leaders, led by the CEO where possible.

Members pick a primary topic at intake. The match is made against the topic, the industry, and the personal context, not just a job title. Separately, every member also gets YPO's official 6-month Virtual Mentoring program through YPO. That global program is distinct from our local one-on-one pairing.
